Student Corner
Resources and channels for Mashaal Institute students—representation, activities, and official guidance in one place.
Student committees
Class and programme representatives work with faculty on academic feedback, event planning, and day-to-day concerns. Standing groups typically include a discipline & ethics student panel, an events & sports committee, and coordinators for community outreach (health camps and awareness drives). Names and contact routes for the current session are posted on the notice board and shared at the start of each semester.
Clubs & societies
Students are encouraged to join or form activity groups under faculty oversight. Examples include:
- Health awareness society — seminars on public health, first aid, and preventive care.
- Literary & debate club — communication skills, poster sessions, and inter-class competitions.
- Sports & wellness — indoor games, walks, and annual sports week as per the academic calendar.
New proposals are welcome; submit a brief constitution and faculty sponsor to the student affairs office.
Handbooks & regulations
The student handbook covers attendance, assessments, uniform or dress code, leave rules, and use of labs and library. Policies on scholarships, fee instalments, and disciplinary procedures align with institute and regulatory requirements. Printed copies or PDFs are issued at orientation; updates are announced by circular.
Support & welfare
For academic stress, personal difficulties, or concerns about conduct, students may approach the designated student counsellor or class advisor in confidence. MIHS does not tolerate harassment or bullying; reporting pathways are explained in the handbook and during orientation.
